The visit was organized by French educational agency Campus France and Embassy of France in Uzbekistan.

The delegation included rector of University of World Economy and Diplomacy N. Jumaev, rector of Tashkent State Technical University A. Adiljanov, rector of Tashkent State Law Institute O. Muhamedjanov, and rector of Samarkand Agriculture Institute T. Ostankulov.

The delegation had chance to familiarize with French higher education system, training and re-training teachers, assessment of quality of universities and use of ICT in modern educational process.

The delegation held talks with representatives of Campus France, Conference of Universities’ Presidents, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Researches, French universities, etc.

Madamin Aripdjanov also met with officials of Higher Education and Scientific Researches, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Center for Pedagogic Researches, University Institute on retaining pedagogic cadres.

The delegation held individual meetings with the representatives of higher education establishments. The meetings served as foundation for signing new agreements on cooperation.

Within the visit, Higher National school of architecture of Versailles and Tashkent Architecture Construction Institute prolonged a cooperation agreement for three years.

It is expected that Higher Engineers Schools, Paris-Dauphine University and Agreenium Consortium will pay visit to Uzbekistan in 2013 to continue partnership and sign agreements on cooperation.
