Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 13 December 2019, the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan held a solemn meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan with the leadership of the State Tax Committee.

“The visit of the delegation from Tajikistan was an important event for us,” said the Chairman of the State Tax Committee B. Musaev. - We tried to make your stay with us effective and useful. 2018-2019 is the time of major reforms in the tax system of our country, from the adoption of the Concept for improving tax policy to a complete change in the appearance and image of tax authorities.

During the stay of the Tajik delegation in Tashkent, the responsible officers of the STC made a number of presentations, shared the results and plans for the development of the tax system of our country.

In particular, the issues of VAT administration, adoption of the new version of the Tax Code, risk analysis system, and the creation of a new data processing center were discussed in detail.

The attention of specialists concerned the automated systems of the committee and the reengineering of business processes, which are currently being carried out by the leadership of the committee.

The software products of the risk analysis system, electronic invoices, online cash register and marking aroused great interest of the representatives of the delegation from Tajikistan.

“We are very grateful to the team of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome and productive work in getting to know your country’s tax system,” Karim Gulmurodzoda, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan said in an interview.

- We learned a lot about the development of the tax system, the concept and tax administration. We intend to implement some of the latest solutions that we have been introduced to. In turn, we invite the team of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Committee to Tajikistan to familiarize themselves with our reforms, exchange experience,” K. Gulmurodzoda emphasized.

Following the meeting, the participants exchanged souvenirs and expressed interest in further fruitful cooperation.
