Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Minister Sherzod Shermatov, visited the headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen. As part of the visit, an introductory tour of the company’s exhibition halls was held.
A delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Digital Technology, subordinate organizations and local telecom operators visited Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China. During the visit, the company presented innovations and trends in the field of ICT technologies, including 5G and 5.5G, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, digital solutions for various sectors of the economy based on energy efficient technologies.
There was an exchange of experience based on successfully implemented digital projects in China, including projects for the digitalization of educational institutions and their campuses, social and transport facilities, individual districts and cities.

As part of the Digital Uzbekistan 2030 strategy, a lot of work has already been done to lay the foundation for strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure, training ICT personnel, improving the skills of specialists in the field and building the country’s export potential in the field of IT services. Today, we are sharing our global experience with a delegation from Uzbekistan in the birthplace of our company, in Shenzhen, and we hope this will bring even more benefits for the digitalization of society in the Republic,” said Mr. Chen Jiakai, Director of Huawei in Uzbekistan.
