Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 22 to 25 January, in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, the Xinjiang International Conference and Exhibition Center is hosting the first forum of cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and China, dedicated to the development of bilateral ties in the economic, trade, tourism and cultural sectors.
At the forum, the Tourism Committee presented a stand promoting the tourism potential of our country, as well as specially designed handouts and videos for Chinese tourists.
The delegation of the Committee on Tourism under the leadership of D. Abdusalomov provided the forum participants with information about the rich tourism potential of Uzbekistan, reforms in the field, transport, logistics, investment opportunities, as well as specially created free tourist zones in several regions of our country with high tourism potential. In addition, Chinese investors were invited to actively participate in joint projects in tourist areas.
Within the framework of the forum, meetings and discussions in the "B2B" format were also organized between tourism operators, hotels and transport companies of China and Uzbekistan. The goal is to attract a flow of tourists from China to our country.
In addition, negotiations are underway to organize a wide advertising campaign to promote Uzbekistan in China, conduct marketing research, create new tourist destinations for Chinese tourists and present our country as the best destination by organizing PR campaigns.
