Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan arrived in Tashkent with a 4-day visit to familiarize themselves with ongoing reforms in the field of tax policy and tax administration.

During the visit, colleagues were introduced to the reforms and the results achieved. In particular, it was noted that the introduction of a flat scale of tax on personal income, a decrease in unified social payment, had a positive effect on the legalization of the number and wage fund.

During the discussions, special attention was paid to the administration of value added tax. Colleagues discussed and shared their experiences in identifying “unscrupulous” taxpayers.

Also, the new edition of the Tax Code was presented to colleagues.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in continuing mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in the field of tax policy and tax administration.
