Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, a delegation from the Republic of Pakistan got acquainted with digitalization projects in the field of agriculture.

At the meeting, it was noted that in recent years, special attention has been paid in the republic to the accelerated digitalization of the agricultural sector, as well as the introduction of modern information systems and software products in the fields of agriculture and food security.

During the presentation and online demonstration held in the building of the Center for Digitalization of the Agro-Industry, the guests were provided with information on the implemented information and geographic information systems, as well as on the established legal framework governing the operation and provision of such demanded services as the provision of land for agricultural purposes, providing state support in the production of agricultural products and improving the skills of land users in using the developed information systems.

The delegations presented works and promising projects in the field of digitalization of agriculture in our republic, they also spoke in detail about the history of the start of digitalization of the sphere and the projects currently being implemented and the results achieved.

Based on the results of the demonstration of the work of the systems "E-IJARA", "Agrosubsidy", "AKIS center", "Register of Equipment", "CropAgro", "Agroplatform", the Geographic Information System and the Agricultural Geoportal created on its basis, the delegation from Pakistan received detailed answers to all the questions of interest to her, and also highly appreciated the work done in the republic.
