Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 August 2023, at the invitation of the Uzbek side, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu made an official visit to Uzbekistan, during which negotiations were held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov .

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, today the delegation of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the activities of the production complex "Technopark" in the city of Tashkent.

This technopark is a group of industrial enterprises focused on the practical implementation of the tasks of creating high-tech, competitive, export-oriented and import-substituting industries.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan talked with the heads of the technopark enterprises, who presented them with innovative developments and agricultural, textile products, developments in the field of hydropower, geological exploration, mechanical engineering, etc.

The main goal of its activity is to create a favorable environment for the development of innovative entrepreneurship, to assist in establishing an effective public-private partnership in this direction.

Here, the possibility of exchange of experience and cooperation was also discussed, taking into account the innovative developments of the technopark in various directions.

“Together with the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu and members of the Kazakg delegation visited the Technopark in Tashkent, which unites more than 20 high-tech, competitive, export-oriented enterprises. We discussed ways to expand Uzbek-Kazakh industrial cooperation and ties between the business circles of the two countries,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister said.
