Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6-8 September 2019, Khiva will host the “International Festival of Archery and National Games”.

Due to the fact that this international sports festival is held for the first time in Khorezm region, in order to organize and conduct this high-level sporting event, the event will be based on the experience of the World Confederation of Ethnosport.

In this connection, on 19 July, a group of guests from the Republic of Turkey headed by the World Confederation of Ethnosport, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Archers Foundation, a member of the High Advisory Council of the Turkish Youth Foundation Bilol Erdogan arrived in Khorezm region.

The purpose of the visit of the Turkish delegation to Khorezm oasis is to further strengthen cooperation, bring them to a new level, as well as participate in a conference dedicated to the international tournament on archery and national games “International Archery Festival” in Khiva.

At the beginning of the visit, the Turkish guests inspected the territory of the Ichan-Kala State Museum Repository, where this sports festival will be held. The guests also got acquainted with the Kukhna-ark complex, Pakhlavan-Mahmud in ”Ichanskaya fortress”, “Kozi-Kalon” madrasa, “Kalta-Tower” monument and other sights.
