Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A cooperation agreement was signed between the Banking and Finance Academy and the Leibniz Institute for Interdisciplinary Research.
The Leibniz Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (LIFIS), founded on 3 May 2002, sees its mission in initiating and supporting practical ties in the field of science in general, in the Berlin Leibniz Scientific Society in particular, as well as in other areas of public life - primarily in small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, LIFIS initiates and promotes interdisciplinary dialogue with foreign partners, and also conducts scientific consultations in the framework of various projects.
LIFIS has established partnerships with prestigious organizations such as the European Renewable Energy Association (EREC) and the BioCon Valley international biotechnology campaign.
The cooperation agreement will be the first and important step in the opening of the first representative office of the Academy abroad.
Due to the fact that the practice of opening representative offices of a state university abroad is new, this will be a great achievement for the entire system of higher education in the country.
During the meeting, the parties will discuss several priority areas of cooperation, such as:
- a plan for further actions to legalize the process of opening a representative office of the Academy in Germany;
- joint work in the field of academic exchange and in the framework of professional development programs;
- implementation of joint projects in the field of research and development;
- organization of joint courses, publications and conferences, as well as other activities agreed in the work plans;
