Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The III Youth Scientific and Practical Conference "Science and Youth -2023" has traditionally ended in the Almalyk branch of NUST MISIS as part of the 78th Days of Science of NUST MISIS.

The conference was held in two stages, in the first stage, students had the opportunity to make presentations in breakout sessions in various areas, where university specialists evaluated the work of future scientists.

With a solemn speech, the plenary session of the conference was opened by the director of the AF NUST MISIS, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Umarov F.Ya.

In the second stage, students sequentially presented their scientific reports using interactive technologies.

Section meetings were held in the following four areas:

1) Rational nature management in the mining industry and prospects for the development of mining equipment.

2) Trends and prospects for the development of modern metallurgy. Technology for obtaining materials of the future.

3) Information technology to achieve sustainable development goals.

4) Mathematical modeling and natural sciences. Modern education and teaching English to engineering students.

85 reports were heard and discussed at section sessions. More and more students of our Branch find their vocation in science and decide to continue their scientific activities.

95 scientific reports were presented at the III Youth Scientific and Practical Conference "Science and Youth - 2023".

According to the results of speeches at the plenary and breakout sessions, 27 students - the authors of the most interesting reports were awarded diplomas of 1, 2, 3 degrees and valuable prizes.
