A concert takes place with participation of Uzbek and Tajik masters of arts
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- After a fruitful negotiations at the Kokhi Borbad Arts Palace in Dushanbe, a concert was held with the participation of Uzbek and Tajik art masters.

The event was attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Emomali Rahmon.

Uzbek leader said that the glorious traditions of friendship between our peoples are necessary for us today, like air and water, preserving and multiplying this priceless heritage are a sacred duty to future generations.

We began to work seriously to strengthen the bridge of friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Friendship, partnership, cohesion and mutual understanding with our neighbors, first of all with fraternal Tajikistan, is at the center of our constant attention, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Cultural and humanitarian exchanges have been developing consistently. Days of culture and art, exhibitions, tours of artists and many other events, which were warmly received by our peoples and became a joyful event in the cultural life of the two countries were successfully held in our countries last year.

Creative collectives from Tajikistan regularly participate in the International Music Festival "Shark Taronalari" in Samarkand. Famous Uzbek performers and artists of the Tashkent circus delight Tajik artists with their work.

On the eve of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan in the park of Dushanbe, a monument was erected to two outstanding representatives of Uzbek and Tajik literature - Alisher Navoi and Abdurakhman Jami. Fraternal ties between our peoples served as a strong source of inspiration for them.

Today’s concert also became another embodiment of the centuries-old friendship, good-neighborliness and brotherhood of the peoples of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan continues.
