Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A competition for the exterior design of the Hyundai Rotem high-speed train has been announced on the website of the Uzbekistan Temir Yollari.

The winner will be selected based on the results of the competition and will receive a prize in the amount of 100 million soums. The train will also feature the finalist’s initials.

To participate in the competition, you must submit up to two design options and send your work to dizayn-nsr@uzrailway.uz before 12 May 2024 with the subject line “Hyundai Rotem train design competition.”

The South Korean company Hyundai Rotem plans to supply six high-speed electric trains to Uzbekistan.
