Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat association Fakhriddin Boboev met with a delegation led by Lee Hong Chan, head of the Profit Max Plus.

During the meeting, issues related to the creation of a gelatin production enterprise using investments from a Chinese company were discussed.

A Chinese investor allocated US$8 million for the implementation of a project in a free economic zone in the city of Akhangaran, Tashkent region.

About 60% of construction work has been completed, and the plant is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2024, with a production of 600 tons of gelatin per month.

Issues related to the collection, storage and processing of raw materials when launching the project were also discussed at the meeting. In this regard, the Association provided company representatives with detailed information about the legal framework, tax and customs benefits in our country.

The Chinese side presented business ideas for two additional investment projects in the country, discussing practical and organizational issues related to their implementation.
