Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Tashkent, a 6th-grade student at school No. 259 lost consciousness during a physical education lesson. The boy died in the capital’s hospital, the press service of the Tashkent Preschool and School Education Department reports.

The incident occurred on 6 October at approximately 11 o'clock. During a lesson, a 12-year-old student lost consciousness after being hit in the chest with a ball. 

“The student was immediately taken to regional clinical hospital No. 7. Despite the emergency medical care provided by doctors, student M.S. died,” the statement of the department said.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, death occurred as a result of reflex cardiac arrest against the background of acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure, cerebral and pulmonary edema, and cardiac hypertrophy. Doctors diagnosed him with congenital heart disease.
