Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 April, an eighth-grade student died at school No. 110 in Mirabad district of Tashkent, Khayot Shamsutdinov, spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan, told Gazeta.uz. The boy became ill after pulling up on the horizontal bar, he soon died.

The khokim of Mirabad district, the leadership of the police department and the operational-duty group visited the school.

The study of records from surveillance cameras showed that the tragedy was not preceded by a fight or conflict, the spokesman said.

According to the preliminary results of a forensic medical examination, death occurred as a result of acute heart failure, extensive hemorrhage in the pancreas, swelling of the brain and lungs.

Employees of the authorities and forensic medical examination are conducting a pre-investigation check.
