62 natural gas fields owned by the departments of Uzbekneftegaz system start to work in full mode

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The activities of 64 natural gas fields owned by Uzbekneftegaz were suspended due to a power outage.

With the start of the supply of electricity, compressor stations and a number of wells at 62 natural gas fields, in particular the large Zevarda, Alan, Pomuk fields and 27 natural gas fields of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, began to operate in full mode.

The work of 11 natural gas fields and technological installations of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department is also being resumed.

All 23 natural gas fields, installations and compressor stations operate in the Gazli oil and gas production department.

In addition, the specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC are working to restore the stable operation of wells and compressor stations at the Janubiy Urtabulak, Somontepa fields of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, the propane-butane mixture separation unit of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department, compressor stations No. 1 and No. 2, as well as a compressor station for the delivery of productive gas through main gas pipelines and a compressor station "Shimoliy Nishon".

The work of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, the Bukhara Oil Refinery and the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant has been resumed, and measures are being taken to ensure their operation at full capacity.

It should be noted that Uztransgaz is gradually restoring the supply of natural gas through the main gas pipelines. Each situation is under the control of members of the temporarily created Headquarters and specialists of the Central Production Dispatch Department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, additional official information will be provided on the circumstances.
