Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to Uzhydromet Director Sherzod Khabibullayev, a 42-degree heat is expected in some regions of Uzbekistan next week.
As noted, from 5 to 8 June, high-temperature air will enter the territory of Uzbekistan from the regions of Iran. As a result, the maximum air temperature is expected to increase:
From 5 to 6 June in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region up to 40-41 degrees;
From 6 to 8 June in Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions up to 40-42 degrees;
From 5 to 8 June in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions up to 38-40 degrees;
From 7 to 8 June in the regions of the Ferghana Valley up to 36-39 degrees.
In some places in the north, south and in desert zones, the wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s, and dust whirlwinds are also possible in some areas.
