Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The year 2025 has been declared as the Year of Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. This decision was announced during a meeting between Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with representatives of the media.
The talks, which took place in Tashkent, emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries, which are showing a steady growth trajectory.
As a result, it was decided to designate the coming year as the Year of Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Additionally, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to develop a program covering 20 priority areas to further deepen their partnership and implement joint projects.
