Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 19th Chinese conference on international exchange of specialists opened at the Shenzhen Exhibition Center, Xinhua News Agency reported.

The two-day event, jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Shenzhen City / Guangdong Province, South China /, is held online and offline, as well as in an exhibition format. 

The planned area for full-time participation is 63 thousand square meters and is divided into 5 pavilions. The exhibition center has zones for negotiating, hiring talented personnel and holding thematic events. In the online format, virtual exhibition halls, online recruitment and other functional platforms for the provision of services are presented

According to the organizing committee, this year the conference will host about a hundred different forums and events. It is expected that the conference will be attended by over 1.2 thousand professional institutions and organizations from more than 30 countries and regions of the world, as well as more than 10 thousand government representatives, experts, scientists and highly qualified specialists from China and foreign countries.

Within the framework of the conference, there are job fairs for talented personnel from overseas and students returning to China after training, as well as the World Elite job fair for middle and high-level professionals, attracting many Chinese and foreign specialists in search of work.

The conference is also scheduled for a summit of experts in the field of big data on the theme "Gathering Talent from Around the World to Create the Future of the Smart Industry." The goal of the summit is to search for new ways of coordinated development of talented personnel and industry in the context of further implementation of the strategies "Strong country of talent" and Digital China." 

In addition, the current conference established for the first time the China / Shenzhen / Youth Education Forum on Science and Technology Innovation to discuss the characteristic patterns of integrating science and basic education.
