Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Yangiaryk district of Khorezm region, a 15-year-old girl was raped by 11 or 12 men.

On 23 July, an 11th grade student had sexual intercourse with a girl (born in 2007) and recorded it on video. Later, he blackmailed the girl by distributing the recording on social networks and showing the recording to her parents.

In the evening, the guy said that he was deleting the video, she approached him, and he grabbed her and dragged her into the garden next to her house, where other guys were already waiting. There were 11-12 guys. One boy was in the 11th grade, the rest were men up to about 30 years old.

For 20 days, the girl was raped every 2-3 days. Relatives, after learning about the situation, filed an application with the Yangyaryk regional department of internal affairs.

The press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan stated that the investigation into the criminal case related to this situation is being investigated by the investigative department under the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Khorezm region.

Eight people were involved in the case as suspects, 3 more people were accused. The Prosecutor General’s Office noted that the defendants were taken into custody as a measure of restraint.

The department noted that as part of the criminal case, a number of comprehensive examinations are also underway and a detailed interrogation of the defendants in the case is being carried out.

After carrying out all the necessary investigative actions in this case, a legal decision will be made, the department notes.
