Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Large-scale work is being carried out at Uzbekneftegaz to increase natural gas production at the fields and increase hydrocarbon reserves.

The workover was successfully completed at well No. 35 of the Sharkiy Berdak field in the Ustyurt gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz.

The overhaul works were carried out by the specialists of Uzneftegazkuduktamirlash and perforation was carried out in the intervals of 1857-1852 m, 1815-1813 m.

As a result of the development, an industrial gas inflow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 144 thousand cubic meters and 1.5 tons of gas condensate.

The Sharkiy Berdak gas condensate field is located on the territory of the Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and was put into operation in 2002.
