Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the CEC of Uzbekistan, 13,963,627 voters participated in the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which made up 67.8% of the total number of voters, taking into account our citizens living abroad. 150,000 voters took advantage of early voting rights.
For the first time, all conditions were created so that all our compatriots living abroad could vote in elections. Previously, only citizens of Uzbekistan officially registered at consular posts were allowed to vote. At 55 polling stations established in about 40 countries, 112,411 voters voted.
The official websites of the Central Election Commission were visited by about 120 thousand users per month. In addition, about 118.5 thousand citizens used the service of determining their polling station.
About 33,300 citizens applied for information about candidates from political parties. About 11.3 thousand citizens used an electronic map to view polling stations. About 8,300 citizens watched the video broadcast from polling stations.
According to preliminary data, 128 deputies were elected from 150 constituencies in the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the Electoral Code, a candidate who receives more than half of the votes, that is, more than 50%, is considered elected.
Since none of the candidates in the last elections to the Legislative Chamber gained enough votes in 22 constituencies, a deputy was not elected in these territorial units.
More than 300 appeals received on the site were reviewed and resolved in a short period of time. At the same time, 150 appeals from social networks were resolved positively. According to these appeals, work was carried out regarding the inclusion of a voter from another polling station and his accession to his constituency.
