Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the night of 11 March, part of the fortress wall collapsed near the "Talipoch Gate" in Bukhara. It was raining all week long.
Members of the Public Scientific Advisory Council quickly began to investigate the incident. It was emphasized that the repair work carried out in 2003 was carried out by unskilled craftsmen.
According to the press service of the Agency for Cultural Heritage, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage allocated 1 billion soums for the restoration of the collapsed area. The current restoration measures are based on a carefully planned plan with the participation of professionals.
According to the “Address list of tangible cultural heritage objects to be preserved in 2022”, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in March of this year, the restoration of this object is carried out by the Directorate for the Restoration of Cultural Heritage Objects.
