Kazakhstan plans to raise its fee for the transit of Turkmen and Uzbek gas to Russia to US$1.4 per 1,000 cubic metres across 100 kilometres from US$1.1, a source in Kazakh state oil and gas company, KazMunaiGas, said on Friday.
Interstate Council of Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) will meet on 25 January. EurAsEC is planning to ink an agreement on encouraging and protecting investments, BelTA reported.

Uzbekistan has reduced gas supplies to Tajikistan. The cause of the reduction is gas supplies is the Tojikgaz [Tajik gas] state unitary enterprise’s debt to the Uztransgaz [Uzbek gas transportation] joint-stock company, which amounts to US$7 million, Director-General of the Tojikgaz state unitary enterprise Fathiddin Muhsiddinov told the Asia-Plus news agency.
