Uzbekistan and Russia intend to build a gas chemical complex

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Russia are working on several large joint industrial projects. TASS reports this with reference to materials prepared for the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Uzbekistan on a state visit from 26 to 27 May 2024.

One of the key projects that Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation are working on is the construction of a copper processing plant on the basis of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant in Tashkent region.

In addition, the countries are collaborating on a project to build a gas chemical complex in Bukhara region.

Uzbekistan and Russia also plan to create a metallurgical cluster at the Tebinbulak iron ore deposit in Karakalpakstan.
