A memorandum of cooperation in the field of tourism was signed between the capitals of Uzbekistan and Russia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair, launched on 15 November at the Uzexpocentre, a dialogue was organized between the deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent on tourism, sports, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications Fakhriddin Davrukov and Evgeniy Kozlov, First Deputy Head of the Office of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow, Chairman of the Moscow Tourism Committee.
During the meeting, it was noted that in the process of effective cooperation between the cities, the number of tourists will reach more than one million people in both directions.
Also the sides discussed issues of strengthening propaganda and presentation of the tourism potential of states, cooperation in the field of tourism, organization of tourism and cultural festivals, tours of folklore and amateur groups, organization of info-tours between tour operators and representatives of the media.
As a result of the dialogue, a bilateral memorandum was signed, which will create new opportunities for further development and strengthening of cooperation in the field of tourism between Tashkent and Moscow.
