The state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Qatar has ended

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev completed his state visit to Qatar.

At Sheikh Hamad International Airport, the distinguished guest was seen off by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al Khulayfi, and other officials. The head of our state left for Tashkent.

Today in Doha, the leader of our country held talks with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which the heads of state expressed their commitment to bringing the interaction between the two countries to a higher level of strategic partnership.

As a result of the negotiations, a substantial package of documents was signed.

The President of Uzbekistan also participated in the opening ceremony of the World Exhibition “EXPO Doha - 2023” and, together with other invited leaders, got acquainted with its exposition.

During his stay in Qatar, the head of our state also held a number of meetings with major investors of this country.
