The badge “Diniy Bagrikenglik” established in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers established the “Diniy Bagrikenglik” (“Religious Tolerance”) badge.
To encourage employees of state and public organizations who have made a worthy contribution to increasing the efficiency of the religious and educational sphere, they will be awarded this honorary badge. It can also be awarded to persons who are not citizens of Uzbekistan.
Ministries and departments, local executive authorities, as well as religious, educational, socio-spiritual organizations submit their proposals for candidates for awarding badges to the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan before 1 October.
The Committee on Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan has been instructed to ensure their ceremonial presentation on the eve of the International Day of Tolerance – on 16 November.
Those awarded the badge are also awarded a one-time cash prize in the amount of 4 sizes of basic estimated value.
