Central Bank hosts a meeting with representatives of Visa

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank with a delegation of the international payment system Visa, headed by senior vice president of the company Vera Platonova.

The sides discussed the joint work carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Central Bank and Visa. In particular, the parties discussed the current state of the digital payment infrastructure in Uzbekistan and the possibility of developing cashless payments in the country.

The meeting participants also discussed joint activities to improve the financial literacy of the population and ensure cybersecurity.
