Uzbek chefs win prizes at the FoodStreetDag-2022 festival in Dagestan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the FoodStreetDag-2022 gastronomic festival, Makhachkala hosted the international culinary championship VISIT DAGESTAN - 2022, which was attended by representatives of six states: Italy, Mauritius, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan.
The jury of the festival included well-known chefs of Michelin-starred restaurants of the world: Alan Joshua Payen (Mauritius) Cesare Chiui (Italy), heads of culinary associations: Nikolai Baratov, Alla Mishina, Anna Zhukova, Makhach Vagabov, Kumsiyat Mirzaeva, Akbar Umarov and other eminent professionals.
The participants competed in cooking on the grill and held master classes in cooking Italian, Uzbek, Mauritian and Turkish cuisine.
Uzbek chefs showed excellent results and won several prizes at once in various nominations:
1st day:
Nomination "Chicken" - Gold - Jamoliddin Nasirdinov (Member of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan);
Nomination "Soups" - silver - Matiev Timur (Member of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan):
Nomination "Chicken" - silver;
Nomination "Soups" - bronze.
Kerimkhanov Ibrokhim (Member of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan):
Nomination "Chicken" - bronze;
Nomination "Soups" - silver.
2nd day:
In the nomination "Dish of fish":
Jamoliddin Nasirdinov
1. Fish - bronze;
2. Soup from fish (ukha) - bronze.
Matiev Timur:
1. Fish - gold;
2. Soup from fish (ukha) - bronze.

In the nomination "Pilaf and meat dish":
