Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the results of January-May 2022, the volume of exports of fruits and vegetables made up US$335.1 million, in physical terms – 615,700 tons. The growth rate compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 15.0%.
The largest share in the export of fruit and vegetable products is occupied by grapes (including dried) - 13.0%, mung bean - 11.2%, tomatoes - 9.6%, cabbage - 9.4%, cherries - 6.7%, onions - 5, 5%, dried prunes - 3.5% and peanuts - 3.4%.
In January-May 2022, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports amounted to 4.0%.
The main export markets for fruits and vegetables are Russia (29.8%), Kazakhstan (25.5%), China (11.9%), Pakistan (5.6%), Kyrgyzstan (4.4%), Afghanistan (4 .2%), Belarus (2.6%).
