Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 January, a regular online meeting of working groups consisting of representatives of Uzbekneftegaz and Tatneft was held on the implementation of promising investment projects, the press service of Uzbekneftegaz said in a statement.
At the meeting, the parties analyzed the relevant data and jointly studied the problems that had arisen.
In accordance with the Roadmap for expanding cooperation between the companies, the possibility of implementing two promising small-tonnage gas chemical projects for the deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials is being studied.
During preliminary negotiations, economic and technical aspects of the projects "Production of benzene, toluene and xylene", "Production of butene-1 and hexene-1" were discussed. Currently, the joint development of technical economic feasibility studies for these projects (feasibility study) is underway.
Specialists of Uzbekneftegaz also informed foreign partners about the existing resource bases in the country, their chemical composition, physical and chemical properties and volumes.
At the next stage, based on the project, which received a positive assessment based on the results of the feasibility study, it is planned to establish production on the territory of the Republic as a joint venture.
It should be noted that small-tonnage projects are one of the main drivers of growth in the economic indicators of our republic.
The ongoing negotiations will serve as a factor influencing the growth of the country’s export potential through the implementation of promising projects aimed at the production of new types of petrochemical products that are in high demand.
