Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, as part of expanding trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Latvia, is actively working to establish business contacts with Latvian companies.
To expand the possibilities for the supply of Uzbek products to the Baltic countries and the European Union, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Latvia, together with the company "Outdoor Media" in August 2021. initiated the issue of opening an Uzbek trading house in Latvia.
The creation of the Uzbek Trading House was directly supported by the management of the company "Outdoor Media", which expressed its readiness to organize a Trading House in Latvia.
The official opening ceremony of the Uzbek trading house in Riga took place on 10 September 2021. in an online format with the participation of representatives of state bodies of Latvia, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Latvia, business circles of Latvia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
To date, the flights of Uzbekistan Airways have organized the delivery of agricultural products produced in the Fergana region to Latvia.
