Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 12:00 on 27 January, the volume of natural gas transportation through the Uztransgaz system is 6.89 million cubic meters per hour.
Volume of produced natural gas
- 5.4 million cubic meters per hour from gas producing enterprises (98% compared to 10:00 on January 25);
- 850,000 cubic meters per hour are extracted from underground gas storage facilities.
The operation of all gas pumping units of the compressor stations of Uztransgaz, which were previously stopped due to interruptions in the supply of electricity, has now been fully restored.
Currently, measures are being taken to commission the Akhangaran compressor station, which supplies natural gas to the Ferghana Valley.
Of the operating thermal power plants, only the Takhiatash TPP is fully supplied with natural gas. At the Navoi, Syrdarya, Talimarzhan, Tashkent and Novo-Angren TPPs, the level of natural gas supply is 50-80%. The provision of natural gas increases as the pressure in the gas pipeline system improves.
Currently, natural gas is not supplied to the Turakurgan TPP due to insufficient pressure in the main gas pipelines transporting natural gas in the Ferghana Valley.
In order to prioritize the supply of natural gas to power plants according to the required indicators, the supply of natural gas to industrial enterprises that were turned off during a power failure is not yet carried out. The supply of natural gas to CNG filling stations is resumed one by one.
