Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with a delegation of entrepreneurs from the city of Nagoya (Japan) was held at the Uzcharmsanoat Association with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent-Nagoya Friendship Association. The focus is on the establishment of investment cooperation and the implementation of new projects.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Japanese delegation was provided with information about the activities of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, its enterprises and types of products, investment and export potential of the industry. The guests were also informed in detail about the business conditions created in the country and benefits for foreign investors wishing to start their own business in Uzbekistan.
Mr. Masahiro Nishimura, head of Chiikimittyaku Co., Ltd, showed particular interest in cooperation with Uzbekistan. He noted that during his visit to our country, his company got acquainted with the activities of enterprises producing leather products, in particular, finished leather. The production process and products of the enterprise Angren Charm LLC were studied. The company's specialists studied in detail the equipment, raw materials and finished products of Uzbek manufacturers.
Chiikimittyaku Co., Ltd is a company based in London. It produces products under the TOKKOU brand. Her philosophy is based on traditional Japanese roots. The ultra-modern design of TOKKOU draws inspiration from the Japanese youth subculture "Bosozoku".
The meeting also touched upon the issues of attracting brands from Japan for the development of the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan, popularizing domestic products in international markets.
Mr. Nishimura noted that the Japanese side is ready to assist the enterprises of Uzbekistan in equipping them with modern Japanese technologies for processing leather, improving the skills of technologists at Uzbek enterprises.
At the end of the talks, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
