Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan denies information that has appeared in the media about the plans of the Chinese company China Huaneng Group to build solar power plants in the country.
The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that all companies begin construction of new power plants on the territory of Uzbekistan, only after they are recognized as winners of tenders, during which the best project proposals of applicants are evaluated.
Of course, the interest of every investor in participating in projects to increase generation in the country is welcomed. We also note that each new tender for the construction of new power plants attracts more and more interest from the international community and companies. The number of bidders is growing every year.
At the same time, the work on organizing tenders for each generation project is widely covered. The names of the participants, the winners of the tendering processes and the results obtained are made publicly available.
