Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 28 November to 1 December 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan receives the delegation of CIVI Italia - the Italian national consortium of agricultural nurseries and leading in vitro laboratories in Europe in Uzbekistan.

On 28 November, foreign guests met with Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, as well as the deputy and adviser to the minister to determine the main areas of cooperation.

The Italians also visited the laboratory of clonal reproduction of seedlings on the territory of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.

In the summer of 2021, Minister of Agriculture Jamshid Khojaev was in Italy on the occasion of the UN Pre-Summit on Food Systems, and with the participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Italy held a number of meetings with several Italian companies.

In order to develop cooperation and work out joint projects in the field of production and processing of agricultural products, study visits of Italians to Uzbekistan were scheduled.
