Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At a creative meeting within the framework of the Tashkent International Film Festival, the world famous director Luc Besson dwelled on the issue of creating favorable conditions in Uzbekistan for the development of cinematic talent of youth.
“The youth of Uzbekistan are very lucky, as all opportunities are open for them. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev pays great attention to unleashing the creative potential of novice filmmakers,” said Luc Besson.
It is expected that the legendary Luc Besson will personally present prizes and diplomas to the participants of the “Cinema in Five Days” youth program, which is taking place within the framework of the Tashkent International Film Festival.
Luc Besson was born into a family of diving instructors, and from childhood he prepared to continue the family tradition.
He spent all his childhood on the Mediterranean coast of France, passionately engaged in diving and underwater photography. His dream was to become a dolphin specialist. However, the dreams were not destined to come true. At the age of seventeen, as a result of an accident, he loses the opportunity to do his favorite thing.
Luc Besson first saw TV at only 18 years old.
