UzAuto Motors explains hike of prices for Malibu, Equinox and Tracker

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UzAuto Motors increased prices for Chevrolet Malibu-2 models, as well as updated Equinox and Tracker. The company explained the hike of prices for these models.

UzAuto Motors noted that second-generation Chevrolet Malibu cars have appeared on the Uzbek market in April 2017. The cost of each new Chevrolet Malibu model was approved based on the modification of the car and has never increased during this period.

"The growth of the dollar (more than 30%), the strengthening of the South Korean won against the dollar (10-15%), the global increase in the cost of logistics in connection with the pandemic and other factors were the main reasons for the update of prices for this model," the company said in the message.

The Chevrolet Tracker has new options - the updated Tracker presented in the Redline configuration differs from the previous model in the presence of climate control, an electrically adjustable driver's seat and seats upholstered in artificial leather and other options.

The Chevrolet Equinox update brings the following options to the RS trim: full LED optics, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert when leaving parking, blind spot monitoring, front seat ventilation, premium sound systems and safety systems.
