Traders via Telegram to be forced to receive a digital code and a virtual cash register

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 April, entrepreneurs trading via the Internet will be required to receive special digital codes. This is stipulated by the draft resolution of the President of Uzbekistan "On improving the administration of electronic commerce and creating favorable conditions for its further development."

It is expected that the adoption of the document will increase tax collection by 196 billion soums.

Now, participants in online trading (including through social networks and messengers) will have to:

notify the tax authority about the start of activities.

get a special digital code, which must be placed on the trading floor (clause 1 of the Project).

At the same time, a “legalized” entrepreneur will have access to a whole set of digital tools that:

will allow to use a virtual cash desk in transactions with the function of drawing up electronic contracts, invoices and powers of attorney for receiving goods;

ensure the transfer of online information about settlements within the framework of e-commerce to the tax authority;

will give the opportunity to use the information platform "Cargo Monitoring", where after registration of documents on the transaction, it will be possible to track the movement of the parcel (clause 1 of the Project)

Entrepreneurs will inform the State Tax Committee about the start of trading activities via the Internet on their own - in electronic form. The State Oil Company, for its part, will transfer information for the registration of a business entity in the automated system of the Agency of State Services under the Ministry of Justice.

Entrepreneurs will work on the Unified Information Platform through their personal account, where the history of purchases, invoices, electronic receipts will be stored. The system provides for the confidentiality of the data of its participants.
