Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 6%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 6% in January 2021 compared to the same period of 2020.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises generated more than 6.42 billion kWh of electricity.

Also in January, Uzbekistan produced about 3.68 million Gcal of heat, which is 0.9% less compared to the same period in 2020.
