STC: consideration of appeals of businesses continues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 16 to 19 February 2021, the State Tax Committee received 155 appeals from business entities to conduct a desk tax audit in order to study transactions carried out with 396 "dubious" enterprises included in the Register.

In particular, on 19 February, the State Tax Committee received 8 applications (2.7 billion soums) from business entities, and preliminary tax control was carried out on 49 applications.

Eventually:

- at 42 enterprises the fact of implementation of "fictitious" transactions (8.9 billion soums) was confirmed;

- at 3 enterprises the fact of illegal offset of the value added tax was partially confirmed;

- in 4 cases, the fact of implementation of "fictitious" transactions was not confirmed, in connection with which a procedure for an accelerated return of the collected funds was launched.

To date, tax control continues with respect to 23 requests.
