Streets to be closed in Samarkand due to eco-marathon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In Samarkand on 18 January, from 10.00 to 12.00, traffic on some streets will be limited in connection with the “Save AraI” eco-marathon:

- from the intersection of Registan Street with Dagbitskaya Street to University Boulevard;

- from the regional theater of musical drama to Kuksaray square;

- along Universit Boulevard to the intersection with Bustonsaroy Street;

- along Universit Boulevard to the intersection with Orzu Makhmudov Street;

The purpose of the "Save Aral" marathon, in which joggers will take part, is to draw public attention to the revival of the Aral Sea.
