Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia opened its representative office in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 November, the official opening of the Representative Office of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent on the basis of the Ishga Markhamat Monocenter. 

The main tasks of the RUDN University representative office in the Republic of Uzbekistan are the implementation of joint projects with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan; teaching Russian language teaching methods and conducting refresher courses for Russian teachers; conducting pre-departure training for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan wishing to work in the Russian Federation; preparation and conduct of exams in the Russian language, the history of Russia and the basics of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The main activities of the representative office also include work on attracting students to the university, strengthening its business ties, helping to strengthen the system of teaching the Russian language and training foreign students, participating in an educational project in Uzbekistan for holding an Olympiad in the Russian language, organizing interaction with companies, organizations, enterprises, institutions on the territory of the republic.

Already in October this year, within the framework of an agreement between the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations and the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the first free classes in the Russian language were held for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan wishing to work in the Russian Federation.
