Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is in the Russian Federation, led by Adviser to the Prime Minister Mehriddin Khairiddinov, took part in the opening ceremony of the Ishga Markhamat pilot Adaptation Center for citizens of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg, the Foreign Ministry reports.
The issue of opening the Center was worked out by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Representative Office of the Agency for External Labor Migration in Russia in the framework of the implementation of the instructions indicated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the video conference on external labor migration from 17 August 2020
The center provides legal and psychological assistance to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who work on the territory of the Russian Federation, including organizing language courses and conducting a number of events (seminars, explanatory works, lectures, etc.) for adaptation in the host country.
