Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution, which amends the resolution "On approval of regulatory legal acts regulating the allocation of subsidies to the livestock industry by the state."
The document approved the Regulations on the procedure for granting subsidies to livestock farms specializing in the cultivation and sale of wool of merino sheep and angora goats to carpet weaving enterprises for 2021–2023.
Subsidies are issued to legal entities for partial reimbursement of the costs of raising sheep and goats in the amount of 2,000 soums for each kilogram of wool sold to artisans and organizations for the production of carpets.
To receive a subsidy, farmers must apply with an application and the necessary documents to the district commission, created to support the effective development of animal husbandry. She within 3 working days makes a decision on the allocation of subsidies or refusal.
Every year, before 5 May, the regional commissions form lists of recipients of subsidies for the next year. These lists are transferred to the Uzbekchorvanasl Agency, and then to the Ministry of Finance for inclusion in the State Budget.
