State Testing Center publishes the final results of entrance exams to universities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Testing Center today announced the results of entrance examinations to higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.
According to the Center, more than 1.48 million applicants have applied to universities. At the same time, 1.24 million applicants or 95.1% took part in the exams. The competition for one place was more than 1 to 10.6.
As a result of the examinations, 140,068 applicants became bachelor students. On the basis of a state grant, 28,173 students were admitted (20.1% of all applicants). 111,895 applicants (79.9%) were admitted on a paid-contract basis.
The minimum passing score for training on the "budget" was 68 points, and the average score was 133.3 points. At the same time, the minimum passing score for the "contract" was 56.7 points, and the average score was 110.6 points.
The Center's Appeal Committee will begin its work on September 28. Applicants who disagree with the test results can appeal.
