Uzbekistan is negotiating the possibility of using vaccines from the Russia and China
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Chinese companies that have developed a vaccine against coronavirus have proposed to conduct the third phase of vaccine trials jointly in Uzbekistan.
In particular, the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan signed agreements with the representative offices of Sinopharm and Zhifei Longcom.
Uzbekistan also applied to the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) for the allocation of 5,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine.
The Ministry of Health recalled that Uzbekistan has joined the WHO international vaccination program against the COVAX coronavirus.
Domestic scientists and pharmaceutical manufacturers are also working on the development of a vaccine, the Ministry of Health notes.
