About 400,000th smart gas meters installed in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 138,000 "smart" gas meters are installed free of charge in the houses of residents of the capital region. Work on the installation of new metering devices has been fully completed in Tashkent and Kibray districts.
Zangiata district, the cities of Andijan and Bukhara are at the completion stage. In total, the gas supply branches of Khududgaztaminot JSC installed 400 thousand new gas meters. In the near future, they are expected to be connected to the Automated Gas Metering Control System (ASKUG).
More than 1,300 locksmiths and electric gas welders from the capital, Namangan, Jizzakh, Syrdarya regions and the Fergana Valley were involved in the installation of smart meters in the Tashkent region alone. This volume of work was completed in two months, and now there is a concrete result. This was reported by the press service of Khududgaztaminot JSC.
In particular, a new payment discipline has been introduced in three districts of Tashkent region, when the supplier provides services in a high quality and in full, and the buyer, in our case, the consumer, pays for it in a timely manner and in full. So, for the 23 days of this month, the population of the Tashkent region delivered commodity products (natural gas) in the amount of 1.8 billion soums, while payments from the population for this period already amount to 1.6 billion soums (87%). During the same period, residents of Zangiata region were supplied with gas for the amount of 2.3 billion, and today the payment for it has exceeded 106%. Residents of Kibray region were supplied with blue fuel for 1.7 billion soums, while payments increased to 124%.
It should be emphasized once again that all service maintenance of gas metering devices and related costs (installation, removal, calibration, repair) is carried out at the expense of gas supply organizations, and the consumers themselves are responsible only for its safety. At the same time, all components, in particular pipes, gas filters, bolts, adapters, welding wire and other parts are also purchased at the expense of gas supply organizations.
