Sales tax reporting is now filled in automatically
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Automation of the tax reporting process is not only a requirement of time, but also a guarantee of business transparency.
The State Tax Committee, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 522 and Article 47 of the Tax Code, starting from 1 January 2020, taking into account the mandatory and complete transition of all business entities to electronic invoices, will further optimize the process of filling out tax reports for taxpayers.

In this case, the total amount of income received by type of activity (columns 4,5,6,7,8,9 of line 010) is generated automatically as the amount of sales in column 3 of line 010. If, along with the main activity, other activities are carried out, columns 4,5,6,7,8,9 of line 010 are filled in manually and are checked by proportionality of the sum of column 3 of line 010.
However, the total income of the enterprise for the third and fourth quarters of 2020 is formed based on the data provided by the EIF for the current quarter and on the basis of the total amount of column 3 of line 010 submitted to the tax authorities for the previous quarter.
Starting from 2021, tax reporting on value added tax, the EI system for total income is formed based on the total amount of EIs sent and approved by the enterprise.
With the introduction of this opportunity, the transparency of the process of selling goods (services) will increase, and the risks of a shadow economy will decrease.
The total income of economic entities exporting goods is generated automatically based on data on export transactions received from the State Customs Committee.
In order for the reporting to be fully and accurately reflected, the posted and approved ESFs must be “validated” by the ESF system.

For reference: currently, 267 864 business entities are registered in the country as taxpayers for turnover tax. Of these, 124,168 (46.3%) use the electronic invoicing system.
